India’s Digital Defense Starts Now: Introducing SecureDApp’s Bharat Security Initiative (SBSI)

Introduction

India has come a long way in becoming a digital-first nation. From how we pay with UPI to how we store health data, sign documents, or invest in crypto — everything today runs on technology. But with this massive shift to the digital world, a big question is rising:

Are we doing enough to protect it?

The answer lies in awareness, collaboration, and action. And that’s exactly what the Bharat Security Initiative (SBSI) by SecureDApp is all about — starting this April.

What is SBSI?

The Bharat Security Initiative (SBSI) is a 6-week webinar series that puts the spotlight on one big mission: securing India’s digital backbone.

Starting April 17, every Thursday, SBSI will bring together India’s top minds from tech, policy, and cybersecurity. They’ll break down key issues in simple language, share real-world insights, and help you understand why cybersecurity matters — not just for governments or companies, but for each one of us.

Whether you’re a student, a startup founder, a policy enthusiast, or someone who’s just curious about how the internet works behind the scenes — this series is for you.

What’s in it for you?

We get it — webinars are everywhere. But SBSI is different, and here’s why:

Weekly expert sessions — no jargon, just clear, engaging conversations

Topics that matter — from blockchain and Web3 security to AI and national cyber defense

Participation certificates — get recognized for learning and engaging every week

Merchandise giveaways — stand a chance to win SecureDApp    exclusive merch by being an active participant

No cost, no barrier — open for all, from anywhere in India

Backed by Visionaries

The Bharat Security Initiative is proudly supported by CySecK and Global INcubation SERVices (GINSERV), two organizations that have been instrumental in shaping India’s cybersecurity and innovation landscape.

CySecK, short for the Centre of Excellence in Cybersecurity, is an initiative by the Government of Karnataka that focuses on strengthening the cybersecurity ecosystem in India through policy support, industry collaboration, and talent development. They’ve been a driving force behind building cybersecurity capacity at both institutional and grassroots levels.

GINSERV, on the other hand, is a startup incubator backed by the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB). It provides infrastructure, mentorship, and funding support to innovative startups, especially in areas like cybersecurity, AI, and deep tech. GINSERV’s role in nurturing next-gen Indian tech talent makes them a natural partner in an initiative like SBSI.

Together, these organizations bring credibility, expertise, and momentum to SBSI, ensuring it doesn’t just remain a conversation, but becomes a catalyst for change in how India approaches digital security.

Final Thoughts

India is at the forefront of digital transformation but security can’t be an afterthought. The Bharat Security Initiative is a timely call to everyone: learn, engage, and help protect the future we’re building.

So join us. Bring your questions. Win cool merch. And walk away each week with real insight and a certificate to prove it.

The future is digital. Let’s secure it together.
